Excerpts from a journal I kept while working on Rapunzel. I needed to believe in her as if she were real so I documented my life and thoughts when I was at home not doing anything in particular and translated them into Rapunzel’s world. When it came time to paint her murals I felt like I had a good idea of what she would be thinking about while she was painting.

This is just legitimately sad.

and this is why i’ll never meet my circle.

i’m guessing it’s on another country or even continent

or planet

Maybe you don’t think you’ll ever meet your missing half, but believe that you have one and they’ll be there when you least expect it.

After all, our circle friends gave up when there was something waiting for them this whole time that made the waiting worth it.
